@Turtle; If Alicorns can't use the Elements of Harmony it would contradict the Story Book Opening of the very first episode and the flashback in "The Crystal Empire", which both show her as an Alicorn prior to using the Elements on Nightmare Moon.

Celestia is very picky about her cake. If one doesn't live up to her standards, it will suffer the consequences.

Its been like 15 years since Ive seen the movie.. perhaps even longer. I do remember Westley and Inigo fighting and some mention of 6 fingers.

How come the Eo M symbol figured so prominently in the transformation sequence then?

I haven't seen the movie in years, but is the six finger thing actually significant enough to matter in terms of ponification? If it's just a small quirk it doesn't really matter if it doesn't carry over.

Count Rugen could be a Caspian Horse, which is mistakenly called a pony by people who consider ponies to be any horse under a certain height.

Caspians have differently shaped hooves and more teeth than other horses. That could be hidden under some sort of leg-covering; and all he has to do is not open his mouth too wide.

Or he could be an Arabian, but I have no clue how you would show an arabian without being terrifying. Those things are nightmare fuel incarnate. I mean, seventeen is just WRONG for the number of rib pairs, and that missing vertebra...

Arabians just look wrong as a horse, and are ugly as heck. Don't google it if you don't want nightmares.
