I'd be cool with it. I'm all for more well designed characters. MLP has kind of a weird schism as it is. The Mane 6 (and Spike, I guess) are extremely well rounded, deep characters with a lot of thought put into their personalities and interaction. But nearly all the other characters are one dimensional and extremely exaggerated, flat characters. I would love to see some new recurring characters.

I think BG ponies in general have the whole OC Stand In thing going. Thoug the more established B Gs like Derpy have their own personalities, you still have a lot more freedom.

Perhaps it turn out Blueblood can be quite charming when he's the one making the first move.

There is, after all, something quite interesting about Blueblood no one ever seems to notice: For someone so seemingly self-obsessed, isn't it odd that Rarity caught him leaving the party?

Wait, I'm pretty sure that Blueblood approached Rarity on his own. She positioned herself near him, but he's the one that actually started things.

In other news, the last of the main VA's for the Japanese dub have been announced

. I'm not familiar with any of the roles of Twilight's VA, but Fluttershy's VA was Kyubey, which is simultaneously perfect and mildly disturbing.

Still, doesn't change the fact that he made a B-line out the door to a place with, to judge from the shot, nopony else around.

Anyway, I'd love for him to return, trying to woo Twilight for all the wrong reasons. Could be a geat story. Especially if he has an accomplish who gets Twilight's eye.

Also, I'd still love for my comics lead to be a rivial of Blueblood. Anyone ever heard of the Hellfire club? They could be members of a pony version, and my leads story kicks off as part of a stupid bet.

He had left the bulk of it, at least. Wandered out into the garden where, from the shot we were privy to, there was nopony around.

Though I do admit it would be kinda funny to see Blueblood as his old self with an accomplice - I'd always liked the stupid knight/clever page dynamic, personally. Like a male version of Princess Platinum and Clover the Clever.

That reminds mf of how articles for The Onion are written by first coming up with the headline and then filling in the actual article. Unfortunately, this means that you can normally catch all the funny bits just by skimming the headlines, the articles themselves often don't add anything.
