Anyone who's good with computers, I've a question.

I'm a bit worried about my laptop. A few days ago I was carrying it in a dark room and knocked it against the vacuum cleaner believe it or not. Since then, it hasn't sounded right. The cooling fans sound much deeper and more 'jittery'. It's working absolutely fine...but the sounds have me worried that its now a ticking time bomb waiting to break.

Suggestions?

I don't know much about computers either, but the fan thing sounds like what's holding the fan spinning in one place might have been knocked loose a bit, resulting in the fan wobbling a little and thus spinning slower, resulting in the lower pitch and jittery-ness. Might be easy to fix, if all that's needed is a screw tightening or something, but I'm not sure.

Well, I never got far into Homestuck. I'll pobably try again someday.

But like Homestuck, the fourth wall is an important aspect of it. Most of the series is made of interviews with the characters. But we cannot see or here the interviewers. They however, can read the comments and relay questions to the characters.

Naturally only some characters have fourth wall awareness though, and even those who do discuss it in a Humans Are Cthulhu kind of way.

They call us:

The Shadows Who Watch (the audience, both of the show and the fic)

The Shadows Who Rule: (Hasbro)

The Shadows Who Make: (DHX)

But really the fic is about the effects that various characters have, starting with Discord. Then you later start getting loads of flashbacks and flashforwards etc.

Phew...OK then.

This laptop is not on sale anymore I think. I'll be hard pressed to find another one with 6G of memory and photoshop as standard for this price.

Well, in one of the interviews for the Bronies documentary, Lauren Faust did say that she had an ending planned for the show with all the mane six achieving their dreams and the CMC getting their cutie marks. Twilight succeeding Princess Celestia was part of that plan...

Rumspringa brings to mind a spring of rum. Jack Sparrow would approve.

@ Meta: I found it obvious from very early on that Celestia was grooming Twilight to be her eventual successor. Twilight becoming a princess isn't random at all, though some people will continue to believe what they want.

And since the current crew is sticking to Faust's original plan for that aspect, it gives me hope that they'll be following the rest of Faust's original plan as well.

Except that Twilight hasn't succeeded Celestia. At best, they stand as equals.

@ Lurker: My personal belief is that this will happen at the end of the series. Which I hope is still quite a ways off.

It's a definite Grand Finale alright, but I hope that it's a few years away yet.
