I'm not one for colors, but I'd say either the classic black/gray, or a darker shade of blue. It's more consistent with they way the two bat-ponies we've seen are.

I just checked a picture of Luna's guards. They do indeed have different coloured wings. This is annoying.

I hope Pony POV gets better after the initial Discordization. Intentional or not, the character chapters are pure Narm. The somewhat stream-of-consciousness style only makes the writing feel vague and disjointed.

Someone found or made that image of Spike as a dog, and now we've got rumors. It helps that it sounds like exactly the sort of thing they'd do. Although I think it would be amusing if they just kept him as a dragon and the only magical element in the series with no explanation.
