The whole 'champs of their chosen fields' idea didn't seem to go down too well. It's just concerning...and I still haven't answered that question...does Batty need to be 'batty'.

You really need to just start doing something. If you over-analyze your concept before you even try it, you'll never know if it will be successful because you never do try it. There is no shame in trying and failing. All it means is that you learn to improve in the future. Just go and draw something and see what sticks in practice, not in theory.

I still have the few chapters of the first fic I wrote up on Fimfiction as a monument to my progress. It's bad, but I wrote it, and I learned from it. This is a learning experience, so learn from it.

It's just concerning...and I still haven't answered that question...does Batty need to be 'batty'.

It's defined his physical appearance up 'til now, but he should only be "batty" if you want him to be.

You need to stop doubting and second-guessing yourself, Apple. It's holding you back.

@Apple: Personally, I'd stop worrying about the powerlevels altogether and just focus on the characterization. Don't worry about how strong/good at cooking/smart/whatever they are until the plotline of the comic actually requires it. You don't need to worry about how good of a fighter character X is if the first arc doesn't involve any fighting. Figure that stuff out as you need to. Trying to account for everything before you start is unpractical.
