Is it just me, or is everyone from Star Trek fundamentally awesome? Like, half the actors I hear about doing this sort of thing are former Star Trek.

When I was rewatching Magical Mystery Cure, I noticed something about Celestia. Could she have held the Element of Generosity before Rarity? The reason I thought of that is because the symbol on her crown and on her necklace looks almost exactly like the symbol on the element necklace that Rarity wears, right down to both being purple. We don't know exactly how the elements were divided up between her and Luna, or if there were other ponies who once used them alongside the royal sisters, but I just thought it to be notable that Celestia's necklace looks suspiciously similar to Rarity's.

@Syd: Unless the picture shown earlier in the thread is a fake, I think that Sunset Shimmer is supposed to be a unicorn, not an Earth pony.

I thought of something about the idea of Lyra being Irish. From what I know, it seems like the harp is kind of the national instrument of Ireland, as it appears on the national coat of arms and on some other Irish symbolism things. Given what Lyra's cutie mark is, that would make it even more appropriate if she was an "Irish pony, " although the show didn't give her that kind of accent when she spoke in the wedding episodes. Although maybe her parents could be from the Equestria version of Ireland.

I'm really down with this idea.

A few things...I have to go back to learning how to draw pony ears...these are terrible.

I forgot about Batty's fangs...don't often draw him with his mouth open.

This all looks terribly flat, lifeless and dull. There's so much more examples of vibrant art out there (the official comic is beautiful for example). I've either got to learn how to make this shine...or just jack it in.

I was listening to the radio one time, when it suddenly popped into my head, "That CD is going to skip." About fifteen seconds later, it did. They had to go to a different song.

It could use a little shading, that would help with the flatness.

Shading lessons...that's a must...I suck at shading...

@ JM, when the shit hit the fan at unicon. The people who took over scrambled to get the VA's paid, as well as clear up the bills of the people screwed by the hotel. And since this was a last minute, only one day to set things up thing, they had to do what they could. The only option they had for accepting donations that quick was a business paypal account one of the Everfree Radio staff had. After collecting the money, the only business account they had available to send it to for the agents, was one that John De Lancie's agent had access to, which was technically one for Robert Picardo, who the agent also represents. And Rob gave him the okay to use the account for it. And apparently EFR will be doing an interview with him about it soon.

Shading was always my worst enemy when I try to draw.

The only thing I see wrong with Batty's ears is that they should be more prominent.
