Or you could rig the door with a system of strings and pulleys so you could open it from your couch.

The trick or treaters visiting my place are all the little bastards in my street who dump their bikes and skateboards around my car, making every driving trip a fucking obstacle course.

I'm lucky nobody ever damaged my property or stole my candy back when I used to go out. If I had more energy I might whip up a pony costume. Oh well, always next year.
