Did Pinkie Pie ever get criticized for eating everything in Swarm of the Century? Pinkie Pie is half parasprite

I can't imagine how the Cakes stay in business when she does stuff like that.

Pinkie is a pretty cool guy She eats everything that is sweet and doesn't afraid if anything.

So she feel same thing what many hybrids feel. Hate for one half of her.

If you're talking about the Pinkie Pie game from Adventures in Ponyville, that doesn't show her doing any baking. She does keep bringing sweets from somewhere else, but for all we know she could be getting them from storage or fresh from Mr. and Mrs. Cake in the kitchen.

They have ponies with near-magical farming skills (seriously, how does applejack always have apples to sell?), and can bake their stuff in a matter of seconds. I'm guess the Cakes have just learned to mass produce, and sell what Pinkie doesn't get her hooves on.

Though if I may put my Doylist hat atop my watsonian hat for a moment, we probably only see her eating a butt-load of stuff out of rule of funny; in reality(so to speak) The cakes have likely made it pretty clear she can't just go around eating whatever she wants, and they probably have some sort of arrangement.

Maybe they take all the food she eats out of her paycheck. Or they just pay her in pies.

Wasn't it said somewhere (Word Of God) that the Cakes actually DO pay Pinkie in sweets?

It might have been. I really don't remember. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was the case.

Found it, thanks to the wiki. "They are not related. Pinkie was always their best customer, and always hanging around anyway so they let her rent the loft upstairs. I think they probably pay her partially in sweets. They love her like a daughter, though. "

Why would they be paying her at all? I'd just let her work in exchange for the loft

You could just say "Happy Nightmare Night!" to them, then close the door without offering explanation if they're confused. If any of them get it, give them a high-five.

Those mares seem rather excited to be "taken under."

I love the way Spike's head follows Big Mac as he walks past. You could almost swear he's thinking: "What A Pimp!"

I subscribe to the theory that Pinkie Pie is a great baker in general and of treats in particular, but she's lousy at the management side of running a bakery.
