@Kyler: Apple Bloom sure seemed to like doing karate/kung-fu moves when they did their talent show performance. I could easily see them trying to do something like trying to be a ninja group or a superhero group. Of course, they probably would be as good at being stealthy as Pinkie was in the Crystal Empire story.

@ Dark Like I said, chapter 4 is the worst. After that, things start to get better. It's mostly there to both shock the reader and li'lpip into how bad the wastes are, and to give a graphic enough image of the horrors of the waste, Kkat can just sketch in the basics later and let the reader fill in the details. Letting it get a lot less gory and dark...well as far as that's concerned, it still gets pretty bleak.

As a math major, I can say that knowing math doesn't make you immortal or give you godlike magical powers. But it does allow you to turn those things into numbers. You have plenty of power over numbers.

1: I had originally hoped for that, but then pia waso n hiatus. She isn't now, though... but I've already got this arc at least semi-planned. I'm not sure what I'd want to do with her if it was a crossover thingy. Best I could think of is a couple cameos of her.
2: I quite enjoyed that face too, heh. I was aiming for the most disdain it's possible to show without speaking. Or vomiting.

I'd have the opposite problem. I'd end up not funding anything else.
I was considering fiddling around with making android apps, and it seems like Java is the go to language for that.
