I've heard Mayor Mar before, which is... slightly better.

As for her assistant, I've seen several but I'm fond of Raven as her name.

What about Dr. Doctor and Professor Professor?

Eh. I liked that show for a little bit. Not sure what happened after that, just stopped watching

@Much earlier discussion: I think that it isn't the parchment, but the ink that gives Spike the ability to fax things.

As I've said before, my list of most liked to least liked is: Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie.

This is not the same as who I'd get along with or who I identify with more. That...would be a pretty scary answer.

For who I'd get along with, It's hard to be sure, ut I think it would be roughly:

Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash.

For who I identify with, this is the really scary answer and is only an approximation:

Neurotic!Rarity, Sleep deprived!Applejack, Nervous!Raibow Dash, Twilight Psycho, Pinkamena “Party of One” Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Discorded!Twilight, Fluttershy, Angry Pie, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Rainbow Ditch, Greedity, Flutterage, Liarjack, Flutterbitch.

...but who is best master chef?

Everypony to the kitchen stadium, it's time to have us a bake-off!
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

[up] I'd say that one comes down to Applejack vs Pinkie. Pinkie works at a bakery, but Applejack did whip up an eleven foot cake in about ten seconds flat at the Gala.

And I'm sure it would have been delicious had it survived another ten seconds.

Well Pinkie herself says Applejack is the best baker in Ponyville.

How much of Sugar Cube Corner's food do you think Pinkie actually makes? Both times we've seen her doing any cooking she roped some other pony into helping her. Plus she has rather odd tastes, if her liking Applebloom's cupcakes is anything to go by. Maybe she's actually a terrible baker.

Well, this is a bit of an obvious joke, but here's my vision of Rarity's Nightmare Night costume.

I've wondered that myself a few times. They're always so vague about the ponies' job descriptions.

The Cakes seemed VERY hesitant to trust her with the bakery before they realized that AJ would be there too. Maybe Pinkie isn't THAT good a baker? She did consider AB's cupcakes good after all.

Have we ever seen Pinkie cook successfully

Pinkie is porbably good but a little too energetic and haphazard when she does the baking.

[up][up]And when she was making cupcakes with Applejack, she was pretty focused on that recipe despite it being pretty basic plain cupcakes. If she did cook often you'd think she would have that down already. Maybe her problem is she's always trying to do something weird with her cooking. She does think hot sauce is a good topping for sweets after all.

Yeah, but who knows - she may be right about that.

I sort of want to try that now. I think next time I get my mitts on some baked goods, I might give it a shot. I mean tobasco sauce has a pretty sour taste when you get down to it, and sour goes pretty well with sweet.

Her cooking basics are fine. It's just that she experiments too much with fancy toppings and fillings.

@Ginger: You mean the cupcakes Pinkie specifically termed "baked bads"?

Baked bads seem to only be inedible for the ponies though. Spike and some bronies who dared to fixed a batch found them quite palatable.

[up][up]I think he was referring to Applebloom's burnt cupcakes from Call of the Cutie.

[up][up] Technically, the Brony in question didn't make Baked Bads specifically, but substituted out a couple of ingredients for actually edible substitutes. For example, gummy worms instead of the real thing.

[up]Another brony didn't substitute. He was not happy with the result.

By the way, I've been thinking for a while. Four stars aided in Nightmare Moon's escape. Four + Luna + Celestia = six, the same number as the Elements of Harmony.

Coincidence?

Thoughts?

Well, I've theorized in the past that the other four elements were upset at having to seal Luna away, and did something that would allow them to help her escape when there was a new set of ponies to bear the elements. That assumes that there were other ponies using the elements, and that Luna and Celestia couldn't handle all of them on their own. It would also explain why they couldn't save Luna with the elements like Twilight could, since they only had five elements at the time.

Ummm... This is kind of out of the blue, but I don't know where else to ask.

Does anyone know what Ingrid Marie's (beige/peach-coloured mare from Twilight's exam in Cutie Mark Chronicles) cutie mark looks like? I know it's a single red apple, but is it like one of Applejack's apples? Does it have a bite in it? I'm doing some fanart of Ingrid Marie and I've got just about everything else done except her cutie mark.

I'm in China right now, and youtube is blocked here, so I've only been able to use the picture on FIM wiki as reference. It's been working okay so far it's just that it doesn't show her cutie mark at all.

If you can help me out I'll love you forever. ;_;

Oh darn. Looks like imageshack is blocked in China too. The description alone should hopefully be enough. If it's wrong I'll fix it in a week when I'm back home again I guess.

More shots of it—it's a darker red than Applejack's.
