I wasn't saying that that should happen in the show, just that that was the real world equivalent.

In show, I'd say something like Rainbow Dash crashing through the Mayor's roof and making an enormous mess, then refusing to help clean up or fix the damage.

For some reason, that makes me really want to see RD wearing real, not-sun glasses. I'm not sure why, although it probably has something to do with how much I liked those safety goggles she wore in Lesson Zero.

A little late on the uptake, but we're coincidentally still discussing a different bespectacled pony, so I'm considering this a relevant tangent.

No, I'm pretty sure we're joking. As far as I know the series only ever refers to her as the mayor, without using her name, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun speculating.
