Okay I have one question, did Disney get the distribution right in any country? I know that Warner Bros are screwing the show in most of Europe and that local networks (including Treehouse TV) have he show in Malaysia, Singapore and Canada. but did Disney get the right in any country (I'm asking 'cause the show's demographics seems similar to Disney's: Little girls (Everything on Disney Channel nowadays; Disney Junior for the little part and the rest of the station bar Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls for the Girl part) and Older people of various gender and ages (Everything else especially the movies)

Anyone else interested in the Japanese dub? I'm particularly interested in what some of the songs would sound like. I'm also curious how it'll do when it has a chance to become mainstream and might have a chance to compete with the likes of Precure and Hello Kitty.

Sure, I might find it interesting to listen to some of the songs in Japanese, if nothing else.

I'm curious if the show will get the Transformers Animated treatment and gets its own unique intro in the Japanese dub.

can't wait to see the Japanese one.

The Italian version only has its own song, it didn't come up with any new animation. That's what I meant by a unique intro, like what they did with Animated up there. This is the English version of Transformers Animated's intro.

If the finished result winds up looking as cool as that, then I hope they do.

Speaking of different openings, the German opening of Monster Rancher is way better than the English one (plus the German version isn't censored). Shame I could only find the first 13 episodes online.

The opening number of the episode was my favorite. The way Twi sings "My Ponyville is so gentle and still" is stuck in my head.

Her first enchantment: books with more pages than they appear to be able to hold at their size.
Then the spell goes horribly right and Twi accidentally creates Jorge Luis Borges' Book Of Sand.

[up][up][up]Ah yes Monster Rancher. I think I have Monster Rancher 3.

Anyway Changed foreign O Ps are the norm for Anime (Or at least 4kids and 90's dubs) (See: Alternative Foreign Theme Song}

Not all are bad, 4kids actually did alright with the Sonic x opening. As for everything after that, not so much.

Huh, I guess I only needed a nap.

But seriously, I have decided that I need a break away from screens. TV, computer and phone, as I have seriously strained my eyes. The left one in particular. So I'm not going to be on here for a few days, and I really mean it. It's the only way I'll get better. So I'll see you all say...Tuesday.

Happy Tuesday!

Second opinion: Some of the feels were interrupted by stream issues, but going through it the second time gave me all the feels. Love it, and it honestly still seemed well-paced to me.

I dunno, could be personal biases due to head canon up until this point. The fact that I have dismissed most fanfics in that regard. I just found it silly.

I just thought of something. Well, I actually thought of it during the season finale itself, but I forgot to mention it until now.

When Celestia references the Element of Honesty, she uses the word "integrity". I think this is important. I've seen a lot of times where, jokingly or otherwise, people point out times when Applejack isn't being completely truthful (outside of brainwashed Liarjack mode). Off the top of my head, when she tells Pinkie a blatant lie in Party of One. ("Construction. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.") But consider her intention: the girls were planning a surprise party. Regardless of your stance on "white lies"*, you can't doubt that she was doing it in the spirit of friendship.

There's even the idea of honesty taken too far, as some fanfics* have explored. Telling the full unfiltered truth, being completely open about what you think... but failing to consider how your words can cut deeply into people's feelings. We've seen Fluttershy do this with Rarity and Pinkie*, and it was not pretty.

In other words, when it comes to the Elements, there's really a whole lot more involved than just a simple interpretation of a single word. And I believe that goes for all the Elements, not just Honesty.

I noticed that, but didn't she use other words for the other elements too?
