Her new tiara could have the Element of Magic gem re-fitted for a more comfortable tiara, the old one always seemed kinda big for her personally.

Well, she did call it the "Big Crown Thingy." I'm gonna miss it.

Also: the Demigod path only requires hitting Level 21. No class restrictions, so Twilight (who is obviously a wizard) could totally take said path.

Yes but assuming it is random and independent, the odds are infinitesimal. Twilgiht should know things like that better than anypony.

In my mind, the many songs in the new episode helped advance the plot quicker. They didn't really have two episodes to space things out(even though it's technically a three parter, but most likely the episode was finished being produced when a fourth season was still a "maybe") , so the movement of the songs helps move the plot along without sacrificing precious time. Imagine if Twilight took 3 minutes at every pony each to see what happened to their cutie marks instead of taking 3 minutes total to check them out.

Obviously they moved the plot along, but I would have prefered if they didn't try to pack so much in in the first place.

Two episodes would have been ideal. One to have Twilight get the book, attempt the spell, wake up the next morning, discover that everything's wrong, wonder what happened, and discovering that it was her fault. Cliffhanger would either be her having no idea how to revert it, or her realizing it was what she did.

Second episode would spend the first half discovering the method and applying it to each friend in turn. Perhaps a mention of Discord. Second half would involve her ascension.

Okay and it's official, pacing and all aside, I do love this episode and it was a success in my book. Just re watched it and, yeah it was still amazing, and yes I teared up, again, at Celestia's song.

Logically I know it has issues but, this episode bypass my logic and hits right in the feels.

@story Yeah...but still, there's the fact that when the episode was made, the fourth season may have not been approved yet, so they needed to wrap up things fast...but what bothers me is that with the season 4 stuff, we might not see more of the cutie mark switch stuff, since that was all said and done in season 3.
