So I just saw a tweet that says that the Season Finale might be considered a 3 part cliffhanger? You wont see parts 2 or 3 til next season?

I think I might not watch it... and save it til right before next seasons's premier if that's true

Afternoon alls y'alls. I shall join with those who are psyched for some pony tomorrow. And also sad that the season is over. Thirteen episodes is definitely too short.

Yeah, I'd imagine next season's premier will be all about Twi adjusting to her new princess duties, so that would sort of make it a continuation, but I don't think that would count as a cliffhanger. Unless they do something crazy and have an actual cliffhanger.

Hmm, yeah that sort of supports the idea that the next episodes will be about Twi princessing it up. The way she says "I consider" suggest it isn't such a definite thing like there would be with a cliffhanger.

Edit: Guess I should spoiler this stuff. Is there anyone who doesn't actually know at this point though?

I just hate cliffhangers and I would rather wait til the next season to watch it if it is one.

Maybe I'll not watch it live and come back and ask if its a cliffhanger and you guys can tell me if its safe to watch or not :P

Im sure it wont be a horrible cliffhanger.... so maybe I can deal with it.

I just cant stand the ones that cause anxiety over a character's fate.

The episode tomorrow ends with camera fading over to Twilight... still staring into the nightamre door

. She's been in Sombra's basement the whole time. Season 3 was a lie.

But no, seriously, I think there's a chance of Meghan trolling...I think... doing a cliffhanger doesn't make sense. Maybe she just means the Season 4 opener will focus on Twilight's new duties as a sort of "follow up" to the Season 3 finale, kinda like how "The Crystal Empire" continued the story of Shining Armor & Princess Cadance from the Season 2 finale.

Yeah that sounds more like. the episode is self contained, ends with Twi becoming an alicorn and her coronation as a princess

And the season 4 premier is a two parter picking up from there. But not a full on cliffhanger.

Just because it's 3-part episode doesn't imply a cliffhanger. My guess is that this episode is largely self contained, Twilight ascends at the end, and the fourth season picks up right at that point and is a two-parter that delves into the implications. The twist would function as more of a Sequel Hook.

The episode sounds stuffed to the gills already without throwing in a last minute cliffhanger like Sombra showing up or whatever on top of everything else.

@JT: Yeah, that'd be my guess. The season 2 opener will have a bit to do with the ramafications.

Maybe Sombra will return! Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully. He was cool, I want him to have a bigger presence.
