She could also have frogs to detect
gases. Frogs are extremely sensitive to things in the air and would be able to sense such through their skin. Some snakes have Jacobsen/Jacobson/Yacobsen/potato/ organs that let them basically have heat vision. Also, platypi/platapi/pletaphy/potato/plasatypy have that weird sensing electricity thing.
Okay, I got no good ideas for special animal abilities at the moment.

Interesting fact from the Prony study. You know the one that asked about personality type.
About 80% of the fandom is introverted. Versus about 25-30% of the overall population. And, not all that surprising to me given just how many in this thread are that type INTJ makes up about 25% of The Herd (At least those that took the survey, but it's a large enough number to be a good indicator) versus 1-2% of the overall population.

@Seraphem: That's interesting, although I think it might be slanted a bit by the fact that it's an internet survey, so there's naturally going to be a higher proportion of introverts. They're more comfortable interacting with people online, so the numbers may skew that way. There are probably a quite a few non-introverted pony fans who never saw the survey because they don't spend as much time on the internet.

"Lesson Zero" wasn't really a big change, there were a few times in Season 1 when someone else delivered the Aesop ("Sonic Rainboom" comes to mind). The main change was that Twilight didn't need to be in every episode.
