I was attending a gym regularly again recently until a few weeks ago...actually, when I was doing that and getting good food, I felt fantastic...then Uni pulled me away from the gym, and all that strife in the family knocked me back...and now I feel shit again.

Most background ponies appear in flashbacks and have Vague Age. Its gonna be real confusing if they do a flashback to ancient times and we see Derpy, Lyra, Orion, Carrot Top, and all the others still hanging around.

Also, an amusing note. Sibsy's variant cover for the Fluttershy spotlight comic has Wild Fire as a filly...which would actually contradict her appearance in the show as an adult in a pre-Cutie Mark flashback.

Well considering that Ponies seem to live for 100s of years... that could have been the same Orion.

I agree, when it comes to background ponies, I typically don't think too hard about their appearance in flashbacks. Although the crew have been pretty good about the more popular ones. I don't remember seeing any out of place Lyras, for example.

I've learnt this now the hard way. Although I've had stress before, this time around, I can't bail round to a friends house to relieve it..at least not until the 27th, when I bugger off to Liverpool for a few days. So it's hit me hard.

And it's funny, you always seem so much wiser than me despite the age deference.

I imagine it's probably my demeanor. I find the thread very relaxing, to be honest. It may also be a sort of awareness and acceptance of how little I know and how mindboggling complex and scary the world is. Accepting that you know nothing makes you pretty receptive to learning things, I think.

It's good you've got a date when the stress can (start to) go away, heh. Also pretty good that you're moving in with someone already established. On the list of things that will remove stress, 'moving to a new city where you have no contacts and nothing established' is pretty low down.

I was fortunate that my course turned out to be nothing like what I was expecting, though still extremely likable. It means I basically had to start with a zero-knowledge mindset. Which admittedly kind of shot me in the foot because I became really nervous of something that was really important to learn and didn't utilize the courses as much as I should have, but in terms of life experiences...

@Kegisak: Same here. One of the most frustrating things about being a students is having to learn how little you really know.

And yeah, stress wreaks hell on your health. I can actually tell that I feel like crap when I have more things worrying me.

I'm generally good at avoiding stress, though I do notice its detrimental effects when I am stressed out. That's why I always try to achieve a certain level of detachment whenever I end up in a situation that I might end up getting stressed.

I wish more students would take up that lesson up though. I am so tired of meeting first year Sociology and Politics students who suddenly think they have the whole world 'sussed'.
