At this point, it would be harder for them to come up with an episode that DOESN'T have something from some fan fic in it.
Ah, good. Glad it worked out for you App.
Good evening everypony. What's going on?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

At least one pegasus for a "wingman" joke, and one with a fish-related CM so we can call him
Pike.

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."
I wonder if SA brought any of his old officers with him when he became Prince of the Crystal Empire? He probably has to train an entire new guard from scratch, considering that the Crystal Ponies almost certainly don't have anyone with experience among them given Sombra's rule. It would be a monumental task to do by himself, and that's without taking into account the other responsibilities he must have.
@What: I don't care much for grilled cheese.
Also, yay! You humans get to see my face for a another season.

SA is the warrior. His compatriots are a healer, an archwizard, and a thief professional infiltrator.
I can't attempt to point you in her direction.
I didn't see her walking out of the door.
@Crow: As long as I have my tail, I'm fine.

Or at least PRINCESS LUNA'S GLORIOUS GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES will anyway
Is this a Sims2 reference?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
The spoiler being that Celestia enjoys her fruit sticks.
Well I guess they get points for using Cheddar instead of that American crap.
As far as the Sims2 thing goes, it's a funny coincidence. In the Sims2, each Sim has an 'aspiration', their main goal in life. Possible aspirations include Fortune, Romance, Knowledge, Popularity, ... and Grilled Cheese Sandwhiches. Yes really.
