Fat chance, we're the modern day Trekies, we'll be around for many years to come. Not to mention giving MLP in general another breath of life. No matter what happens to the show, there's no turning back and Bronies in one form or another are here to stay.

Also, about 26 episodes in Season 4:

Or at least PRINCESS LUNA’S GLORIOUS GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES will anyway.

Yeah, even if the show does end, there would be plenty of spin-off material.
And I'm still hoping for the theatrical movie eventually.
Daddy... who are all those guys over there, together?
Oh, those are just the bronies, honey. Very nice people, nothing to worry about. (guy edges over to join them) Daddy? Daddy, where'd you go?

If G4 ends, there will likely be a G5 (remember the number of times Transformers and GI Joe have been rebooted?). Only this time, there will be a large vocal fanbase waiting for the new show, and no one will be surprised about grown men liking ponies this time around. Theoretically.
@Calnos: The real question is, will G5 be any good? Presumably they'll put a fair amount of effort into it because they know the fanbase is there, but it will probably have a very different crew working on it.

I wonder if g5 would have male mane stars.
And is this working◊?
EDIT: It's not? Bloody hell...

The link's name is too long, and it's getting broken up by the forum software. You need to either make a tinyurl redirect, or reupload the picture with a shorter file name.

Applelight, try this, go to the image links next to an uploaded photo like here, and click on the "Direct Link" url (should auto-copy) under "Image Links" on the far right. Here on TV Tropes, copy paste the Direct Link url in brackets like any other link. That's how my link worked, anyways.

Apple is pasting the right link in. It's just so long that the forum software is inserting a space and hyphen (right in the middle of "sweetie-belle") to break it up, which prevents the link from working in the actual post. Copy the url, delete the extra space and hyphen, and the picture works fine.
Personally, I still see no reason why the end of this show couldn't still be a good, long way off. And I cite again, Arthur, the most popular other show targeted at a similar age group which has had 16 seasons so far and doesn't show signs of stopping.

All I know is, I'm not quitting this fandom. FIM helps me with my depression and has made me laugh in Celestia knows how long. That's more than enough for me. Plus it got me into ponies in general. Yes I can't see any of the actual animation, but the sincerity of the show still shines through in it's sparkling dialogue and wonderful music.

You're blind? Is Descriptive Video Service offered for Pony? Or would you use it anyway if it was?

A 26-episode Season 4, plus a big DVD movie thingy. This news will tide me over during the drought.
Wait what? I've heard about Season 4 being confirmed for another 26 episodes but where is this talk of a direct-to-DVD movie coming from?

@ meta
Do you mean get rid of all the spaces and hythens, or just the one is Sweetie Belle?

It would certainly be nice for some of the more action oriented sequences but no there isn't any. Descriptive narration is pretty rare, especially for Television.
