@Calinos. I know but when i looked up the franchise on The Other Wiki it said that Tales aired while the G2 toys were being sold.

Huzzah another wasted pagetopper.

So for the next season, does anyone want to see a crazy Rarity? Considering she's only really only gone nuts in Return, and she's deliciously hammy at calm moments...

Give me Swiss cheese any day.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

American Cheese can't even legally be called cheese.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

It's plastic isn't it?

[up]You will probably enjoy the wax wrappers on other cheeses more.

Also, Manchego cheese, is best cheese.

I'm a fan of plain old cheddar, myself.

That is, Old Cheddar, plain. Cheese is better when aged, of course.

[up][up] I've never even heard of that. What's it taste like?

I can't attempt to point you in her direction.
I didn't see her walking out of the door.

That's overstating it a bit. It's not really the most high-quality stuff (I prefer cheddar or provolone myself), but it's not plastic.

Also, congrats, Applelight.

Thank you JT.

And I've developed a taste for blue cheese myself. Blue cheese sauce on buffalo wings...

Oooh, blue cheese is really good too. Unfortunately I'm too cheap to buy it most of the time.

@Kyler: There is actually quite a bit of variation, but it tends to be a bit dry and nutty. It's actually a sheep's cheese.

American cheese is terrible on its own, but excellent when melted onto something (like potatoes, or— hey! Grilled cheese.)

but it's not plastic.

It's not entirely plastic at any rate.

I'm a big fan of Cheddar and Provolone as well.

Eh, I still prefer something like, I dunno, mozza for a sandwich, but I WILL grant you that American cheese is pretty easy to make sandwiches with compared to other cheeses.

American cheese is good for grilled cheese sandwiches, making macaroni and cheese, and making cheese dip. Basically, it's good for melting. Outside of that, pretty much anything else is preferable.

Late to the Party on cheese: Eh, I couldn't identify most cheeses if you forced me at gunpoint.

Rarebit is tasty...

Oh, funny-ish story. Not hugely related to anything that's going on, but I thought it was interesting and wanted to tell it before I forget again.

So, at my work my team has a communal chat that we have going all the time - ostensibly for communication of issues, but mostly we just use it to faff about and troll each other. Today, nearing the end of the day, my lead posts in the chat: "[Keg], are you a Brony?"

It spawned a rather large and drawn out discussion based on me defending the show and the notion that a show can be clever and intelligent regardless of it's 'intended' audience and I eventually managed to get him to concede that yeah, a cartoon being made for kids doesn't preclude it from being genuinely engaging and clever. Until...

Lead: "...unless it involves ponies. That's the line"

He was just trolling of course, and the rest of the team responded with an amazingly ambivalent 'whatever, it's a show'. Still, I thougt it was kinda funny. Even got my lead to email me the show popularity statistics. To which I responded by sending him this.

@edvedd: The idea of someone being forced to identify cheeses at gunpoint makes me imagine some kind of Culture Police villain group who wants to kill anyone they deem to be too uncouth to live.

That would be an interesting villain who could appear on the show, actually. Not that they would necessarily kill anyone on the show, but a villain who gives over-the-top punishments to anyone they think is behaving in a way that doesn't fit their idea of "high society." Kind of like an evil version of Rarity in the sleepover episode. And they could be opposed by a slob villain who thinks that ANYTHING remotely fancy or polite is "evil fakery, " like they think that being messy and dirty and rude to everyone is the only way to be "real." And then the ponies are caught between a villainous Slobs Versus Snobs war.

Of course, one can't forget the mafia's dealings in black-market cheese.
