There are hundreds of Lyras, all over Equestria. There was definitely more than one in the castle for the Canterlot Wedding, and I saw three within one second during a quick panning shot in Magic Duel.

@Droy: Lyra was one of the bridesmaids at Cadence's wedding, originally. So was Colgate, who Lyra was with in the opening shot. I think Cadence probably foalsat for the two of them same as Twilight, which is how they know each other.

Earlier, someone said that Twilight needs to wave back at poor Lyra (from the pilot) before the series ends. I'd take this one step further, and have Twi ask her, "Which Lyra are you?"
