So I've been playing
Sonic Rush, and I couldn't help but notice Blaze's story:
It's about her being committed to her duty to save the world, which involves collecting jewels of power (the Sol Emeralds), and being unwilling to make friends, but others try to make friends with her. Blaze tries to lose them in order to get back to her business trying to save the world, but everyone befriends her anyway. Eventually, when she confronts the villain(s) who threaten her world, she tries to use the Sol Emeralds, but apparently, they lack power. But then (with help of her new friends), she realizes
The Power of Friendship and uses the Sol Emeralds to defeat the villains.
Then I thought: "Hey, haven't I seen this plot before?" I immediately thought of the 2-part pilot of FiM, then I realized that
Sonic Rush was released in 2005 (5 years before MLP's premiere). Sure there are differences here and there, but the key events are
pretty much the same.
(And as it happens both Twilight and Blaze are purple, can't forget that).
Be careful around me. I ask too many questions.
