Random question that is probably asked before.
CMC decided to call themselves. Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Cutie Mark
Crusaders.
How in Equestria would they know such word?
Panic and procrastination will not solve anything.
if you're referring to the "if crusader is a word there must have been a crusade", perhaps a few belligerent nobles got a little too enthusiastic in spreading the word of Celestia.
Yeah, that was my question, and I suppose your explanation makes some sense.
Panic and procrastination will not solve anything.
The Crusades happened centuries ago in our history, and we still use the word. I don't see how the implication that thee was some sort of "holy war" at some point in pony history is really anything weird. Heck, it could even be a loan word from some other culture.
A "mane" character? But Spike has been in almost every episode, anyway, hasn't he? I don't think that precludes the term Mane Six.
@Kyler - Hit it.
And I'm off to class.

I don't get it. Hit what?
From my heart and from my hand
Why don't people understand my intentions?
Well, Equestria has had a less-then-peaceful history. There's plenty of opportunity for Princess Platinum or whoever to declare a Holy Crusade on the Crystal Empire or something.
Spooky.
@Kyler: Nah, cause there's only five mane ponies anyways.
The oval ponies are one of those things that has no right to be entertaining, but is.
An official MLP handbook?
144 pages, so it's definitely not something cheap like a colouring book. Man, wouldn't it be amazing if we got a whole handbook on Equestrian History, characters and flora & fauna?
It's a real listing BTW. Release date April 2 next year. Age range 12 to 18.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
@Freeman: It's someone with MSPaint spending, I'm sure, an average of five minutes per page coloring ovals with the colors of various ponies and proving that as long as you brand something right, you'll be handed popularity for no effort.
As a fandom, not one of our prouder blogs, I think.

Won't be online for a while due to the holidays. Stay safe, happy and warm!
@Story: Ooh, I'm a post of the day. I'm still waiting for that book.
We can be Canon Contradiction Cops!
I'm impressed how long it is taking to make that book. Normally, a book based on the show would be thrown together in about a month, less if they just use stock images. It seems like good effort is being put into it, hopefully.
Can I be a Non-Argumentive Criminal?
As for the crusader thing, I'm more puzzled by how they got the word bullet.
