I've got nothing against "The Doctor in Equestria" fics, but I also like stories about Dr. Hooves as just a pony who happens to have time travel powers. He bucks the time stream anytime he needs to go somewhen.

I'm not clear on the history of the subject, all I know is that Fluffle Puff and Fluffy Ponies are not to be confused. One is cute and adorable, the other is sick and stupid.
The only people who hate Fluffle Puff are the ones that think she's a Fluffy Pony.

Time for a late night fanfic report!
Dear Thread Manor...
Not much of a theme going on for tonight. Got a crossover, some epic adventure, and finally a small slice of life piece.
Rorschach in Equestria
- in progress. Walter Kovacs, more commonly known as Rorschach, never expected to wake up again after being blown apart by Dr. Manhattan in the middle of the Antarctic. And he definitely never expected to find himself in a whole new world where everything he knew is thrown upside down. How will Rorschach, almost as much of a monster as the criminals he used to fight, adapt to world where peace and harmony, as opposed to fear and violence, is the status quo? To a world where he no longer has a purpose?
I know the premise seems completely ridiculous, but I think they pulled it off pretty well.
Out of Touch- in progress. In the far future, Tinker is a mare living on a fringe world hoping to use her tinkering abilities to make enough bits to book passage offworld so she finally make something of her life. All this changes when she is confronted by a mysterious purple unicorn mare with a red cloak, covered in scars and with a draconequus tattoo along the length of her body, who appears in a burst of light and asks what year it is. She soon learns the madmares name, Twilight Sparkle, and that the draconequus tattoo isn't just a tattoo. Tinkers life will never again be the same and she's going to be seeing a lot more of the universe than she ever bargained for...
This fic has a pretty neat premise. Twilight Sparkle, time police. Very well written too.
Invictus. Luna must confront the piece of the Nightmare still inside her in order to reclaim her full power. But the cost of failure, once again becoming NMM, is so great, can she really go through with this? Should she even try?
this is just a short piece, under 4k words, of Tia and Twilight building up Lunas confidence to confront the nightmare. It was pretty neat.
Dragonborn- in progress. Lately, Fluttershy has been having strange dreams. Dreams where she's a dragon. They seem very vivid, more like visions than dreams. This forewarning doesn't help Fluttershy much when she wakes up one morning to find that she really has become a dragon! She has the full support of her friends, and even Luna and Celestia trying to help her, but it seems that for her to find out why this has happened and to find a way to turn back into a pony, she'll have to make a trip outside the borders of Equestria. A trip to the lands of the dragons.
That's right, it's not a skyrim crossover! Another neat premise, I'd give it a shot.

My favorite idea for Dr. Whooves is that he doesn't actually have time powers and his cutie mark is unrelated. After all, C Ms are abstract symbols that can mean many different things.
