Did it? I dunno, maybe, I'm afraid that's one I missed out on. As for Spike— well, I suppose whether or not he's a main character is debatable, though he isn't part of the group people refer to as "mane" when they say "mane six." He's also not a pony.

@JT: Fair enough. I'd actually like to see Spike develop a closer friendship with somepony where he isn't sort of in the "my friend's little brother" role. It doesn't necessarily need to be one of the main cast members. Maybe he and Big Mac can start hanging out.

If I had to hazard a guess, Spike would find Big Mac too dull and serious (Twi at least gets neurotic on occasion), and Big Mac might find Spike rather insufferable.
Apple Bloom is Applejack's little sister. Sweetie Belle is Rarity's little sister. Scootaloo recently became Rainbow Dash's "little sister". Spike is Twilight's pseudo little brother. What about Pinkie and Fluttershy?

At least Pinkie does have sisters, even though they are not in Ponyville (at least, as far as we know).
Fluttershy is the only one with clearly no sign of siblings. Or any family, really. Not on screen, at any rate.

If I had to guess, I'd say Fluttershy is an only child, and her shyness comes from the fact that her parents coddled her a bit too much. RD I could see being the youngest in her family, so she overachieves to try to prove herself.

My Little Pony Tales is the black sheep of MLP cartoons. Only lasted a season I think.
The rest of the G1 cartoons are "Damn, Dreamland is messed up"
G2. There was no G2 cartoon.
G3 is the one everyone makes fun of.
G3.5 is the one folks pretend didn't happen.
I don't need to tell you which one G4 is.
