Me too. Maybe it's because Twilight has a more relatable, less sickly sweet form of endearing. I tend to find Jerkass Woobies more sympathetic than straight up Woobies, mostly because they always send themselves up for horrible punishment via their own flaws. That's actually something more tragic watching Twilight's neuroses or pompousness set her up for humiliation and woe (even if it's still often funny).

And even outside that there's moments like this:

Pinkie proposed the solution, Pinkie drove that plot, shame on you for thinking otherwise.

Pinkie spent the whole episode (TMPP) moping or staring at a wall.

absconds to go play some Suikoden

Woah, as soon as you hit New Game, you put in your name and then it's like BAM: play. No cutscenes, just walk around talk. That's quite refreshing.

I identify most with Twilight except that I'm not organized at all.

[up][up][up]Oh man, Suikoden? I love those games. Is this the first one you've played?

@Blue: Pinkie more or less gave Twi the solution before she went off to sulk.

@Crowfall: Nah, Suikoden was an integral part of my childhood.

I've been really wanting to replay the second one for years but can't get a working copy anywhere. Fortunately the first game is on PSN for $6, so I'm playing it now. This is probably the 4th time I've played it I think, but it's been at least five years.

I absolutely love the music in this game, it's like aural nostalgia.

[up] She gave her the idea, Twi came up with and implemented the actual solution. I ain't saying Pinkie didn't do anything that episode, just that she tends towards a support role, even in her own episodes.

I think that's a good thing for the record.

[up][up][up]I should probably get around to getting 2 so I can finish it. Oddly enough its the game I've played the least in the series, which is some sort of travesty.

[up][up]Is that the same Shining Armor that's also married to Chrysalis?

@Crowfall: Suikoden 2 is the besssssst.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Twilight as an aunt, she would be so proud and adoring, it would be adorable.

@Bluespade: That's what everyone tells me. Too bad its also the hardest to find.

So Cadance babies. Alicorns or not? I'm going to say no, because we don't need the show to get cluttered up with god ponies.

@Crowfall: It takes a lot for Alicorn lineage to assert itself, so it's not likely :V

The wall staring was at the end, ...and besides if it weren't for her there'd still be her clones (of course without her need to be with everyone there'd be no clones) and what the hell do you expect when your own actions for one desire end up doing the exact opposite

That was one episode were Pinkie not only played The Straight Man (albeit to her clones), but seemed more aware of her flaws than usual (and this is exactly why " A Friend In Deed" falls, it's a flanderization, and trying to get where I stand on the ending will only lead down a road of unpleasantness, ...it's funny and rustic enough to keep afloat)

All Twilight did was blast Pinkie's and turn stuff into Oranges, that is a helluva lot less than

- The picnic with Fluttershy

- Trying to hang with Dashie, that being her first choice, and telling her first of the problem

- Trying to get the situation back in hand only to be interrupted by clones

- Proposing the Pinkie's do something "un-fun" which dense old Twilight never would've come up with.

The "moping" you so groan about Blue was twenty seconds, that's like saying all Rarity did in "Suited For Success" was wallow or all Fluttershy did in "Putting Your Hoof Down" was deliver "The Reason You Suck" Speech one after another.

Are you implying that "Putting Your Hoof Down" wasn't 22 minutes of The Reason You Suck Speeches?

@Crow:Yeah, it sucks. I actually own a copy, but the disc is scratched. I can play through about 10-12 hours, but there's a certain town that crashes the game when you enter it. Unfortunately, you have to enter that town to progress the plot, so I can't actually finish it...

@Alicorn baby: I'd be fine either way, but I think it'd probably be a unicorn since both parents aren't alicorns.

I wasn't groaning about anything. I specifically said that I thought it was a good thing that Pinkie sticks to a more supportive role rather than an active protagonist.

I didn't even dislike the episode nor did I complain about it at any point so I'm really not sure what you're arguing about.

Guys, just had a talk with my brother.

I didn't tell him that I myself was a brony, but he basically explained his reasons.

He says that he believes they devote too much time to the show, and that no one's ever heard of a "Homestuck Brony."

Took me some willpower to not say that I was one.
