AFID sucked so hard, ...that was the worst Pinkie episode ever, ...and how dare you steal Pinkie's glory to ha hah Twilight on TMPP (THE BEST EVER!!!!) (nothing against Twilight but she really wasn't important at all until the end, ...she easily could've been left out at the beginning and thing's would've been fine)

Pinkie proposed the solution, Pinkie drove that plot, shame on you for thinking otherwise.

Actually Pinkie's episodes have probably been the most consistent

Just like Pinkie, one boring episode that everyone except me seems to like for a reason I cannot fathom.

Twilight and AJ are the only ponies that I'd say never got an average to sub-par episode.

But Spike is the only one who has never gotten an A-worthy episode. Every chance the writers have they blow on A) Cheap laughs (As seen in "Owls Well", "A Dog And Pony Show") B) Waste potential ("Secret of My Excess", "Dragon Quest", "Spike At Your Service") or C) Lots of Unfortunate Implications against dragons (sorta in "Secret of My Excess", inescapable in "Dragon Quest")

Admitedly Donut Joe seems more valid than Pony Joe. The latter's basically on par with calling a person Human Joe.

Man, don't you diss A Dog and Pony Show. That's still my favorite episode in the whole series. Maybe Sleepless in Ponyville has overtaken it, but probably not.

To be honest, I quite like all of Spike's episodes. I find his struggles with identity and possessiveness to be quite easy to relate to. Spike At Your Service ranks at the top of the whole series in terms of pure characterization for me.

Spike's episode are hit and miss, though hardly awful. I thought Spike At Your Service was pretty fun (for all I complained about it concerning AJ) as was Secret Of My Excess (though I may have a soft spot for it due to being one of the first episodes I saw in full, same for AFID).

AJ's tend to go on and off due to her more reserved personality and writers seemingly stuggling to think up big dilemmas concerning her character. I thought all her Season One lead/co lead roles were among the best however.

RD's go the opposite way, since sometimes her abrasiveness excalates to the point she comes off as too much of a Jerk Ass (nearly all the ponies hold the Jerkass Ball in their lead roles, but RD's tend to be considered among some of the most odious). There's something more creditable about them in hindsight however due to her Character Development and the fact a lot of the Aesops she learnt in her meaner points actually seem to have stuck.

Dog and Pony Show was a good episode, the Gollum Dogs and Rarity's whining ranged from funny to genuinely annoying however.

It is actually one of my least favorite episodes, simply because I personally found Rarity whining the dogs into submission so implausible and stupid to the point of being offensive.

The Dogs were Gollum-esque weasels, so it kind of made sense. I admit they downgraded from genuinely menacing characters to Harmless Villains rather abruptedly however.

Clearly you have never dealt with someone who employs similar tactics in real life.

Seriously, listen to an adequately annoying person whine for 5 minutes, and tell me you wouldn't fo what they say.

Also, Rarity completely loses her accent when she whines.
