It could also refer to a cuppa joe. I don't think I've ever seen a Doughnut place that doesn't also sell coffee.

That's what I figured.

Let me guess, yet another humanization with ridiculous boobs?

@Story: Nah, this artist was actually respectable and went the route of making her believably pretty rather than giving her giant cans. That's part of the reason I like that picture.

I've said before that Rarity's my favorite of the girls, and that's still true. Even aside from the little touches like (as Ed mentioned) losing her accent when she's whining or stressed, it's always interesting to see characters with genuine personality flaws (and Rarity's prissiness is taken to flaw level rather often) that they are aware of and struggle with managing, not always successfully. Dashie, Pinkie and Applejack lack that awareness, and Twilight's issues tend to stay under control until they breach with a vengeance; Fluttershy knows her shyness is a problem, but her method of dealing with it is pretty much more of the same.

*shrug* It really depends on personal taste and on the writer, but I think she's very well handled on a technical level. Usually.
Won't be online for a while due to the holidays. Stay safe, happy and warm!

I figured all grown up was probably a euphemism. But it looks like it's actually a decent picture.

@Red: Yup, that's pretty much my take on it as well. Although Twilight still edges her out for Best Pony, though.

My favorite tends to be Twilight, generally because she strays so swiftly between competent and imbecilic the most out of any other pony. The others are well moderated too, but tend to be most defined by either their positive or negative aspects, especially in side roles. RD has gotten better since the third season however.

I admit I like that aspect of Rarity, she actually is aware of her flaws, she just doesn't always know how to go about them. I think it's also that aspect that makes her seem a bit more versatile plot wise. Her episodes don't seem to have quite as much of a driven formula as the others' tend to.

Twilight is my favorite because I can relate to her the most. I'm a dork, I tend to try to quantify things that aren't quantifiable, and I don't handle stress well.

And with that, I go to sleep.

[up][up]I think it's the fact that her overall portrayal is the most versatile (Rarity is more versatile in plot, but slightly more limited in portrayal). Her shortcomings and fears can often be for very lucid and relatable things, but at the same time she can take them to a very cartoony level at points (case in point, Lesson Zero, her fears at upsetting her peer are very relatable, the way she acts them out however are completely and utterly off the wall).

I admit I'm also very neuroses prone though, and have a very low patience level.

Night JT.

I am the opposite with Twilight when it comes to dealing stress. My default response is "I...I...uh...what do I do..........screw it, I'll think about it tomorrow."

[up][up]I'm sort of a bit of both, I dwell over things a lot, but it's more all say, no do, and I can never really bring myself to actually do anything about it.

I work in advertising, and loose ends bug the hell out of me. I can't concentrate when there's work that hasn't been approved or information that isn't available.

That sounds quite similar to my coping mechanism in some cases.

In another note, I find Twilight more adorable than Fluttershy. I like her cuteness that has its roots on her enthusiasm.

For some reason, though, I can't find myself to find Pinkie endearing.
