@ed: Oh. Well that's even more wrong then. Has he not seen how extensive all the Homestuck stuff is?
He did say that he didn't mind the actual people.
If I told him, I guess he'd be alright, seeing as I barely talk about it, except when horses become the central part of a conversation.
We were talking about names for a group of zombies, so I said marmalade of zombies. I then showed him the definition, to which he said that there should be a pony called Marmalade.
Death is only your FIRST destination today.
I think his brother meant people who are as obsessed with Homestuck as we are (supposedly)obsessed with ponies.
He's saying that there
aren't? Geez, Steven, your brother must be new to the Internet.
Won't be online for a while due to the holidays. Stay safe, happy and warm!
He's not a fandom type of person.
I'm the nerdier of us two. Weirdly, I'm also the more outdoorsy one.

Death is only your FIRST destination today.
Homestuck he has a passing knowledge of due to me. He plays XBOX Minecraft, and he knows about Dwarf Fortress' difficulty, but apart from that, he don't know a lot of fandoms.
@Blue
Your brother sounds awesome.

Death is only your FIRST destination today.
I've noticed that as well.
Death is only your FIRST destination today.
I haven't heard of Minecraft and
Dwarf Fortress having obsessive fans in the same sense. But that's because they're sandbox games, not works of media with plot and characters. So people can build crazy stuff, but they don't argue all the time about Best Pony and the like.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Arguing over the best pony is silly. OBVIOUSLY the best pony is actually a stallion by the name of Shining Armor.
