Applejack is still one character I can't really make up my mind about. There are things about her that I just find really annoying, and I feel she gets very poorly used often, but at her core I really like her character. But she's definitely at the bottom of the character tiers for me.
Is... that some kind of Irish figure of speech? I've never heard it before.

His mane is a pain yes. I might have to simplify it immensely. It's actually supposed to resemble the sun, believe it or not. The guys name is Sunny, and he's the 'Pinkie Pie' of the group. And yes, he also draws inspiration from G1 pony Surprise.

I wouldn't say angelic, no. Maybe cheery in a Pinkie Pie kind of way, though. Plus his hair doesn't look like it'd be that much of a pain. At least not compared to Dashie's.
