Yeah, I'm really not a big fan of Dark Fic in general, so Cupcakes doesn't interest me at all. And it bugs me how much it's influenced the fandom's interpretation of Pinkie's character.

If you email the reviews in, and by some miracle it gets posted, post a link. I don't check EQ that much, so I'd probably miss it.

You gotta take Pinkie Pie's advice and giggle at the ghosties. I think it's cute that some folks think the only response to something cheery and optimistic is to try and "mature it up" with grim 'n gritty — it's like watching an eleven-year-old douse himself in Axe body spray because he thinks that will make him a chick magnet.

@Fallen, I guess it's just a personal taste thing. I obtain a lot of humor for character exaggerations or extreme derailments. The contrast is something you never expect and the overemphasis is like a hilarious natural conclusion.

On an unrelated note, I tried getting myself one of those chameleon mugs but after trying to navigate the unnavigable website and not finding a price tag anywhere I gave up.

Poor Fluttershy is almost catatonic by the time Luna is hugging her. Of course, it doesn't help that Fluttershy just smacked into a door.

I should feel bad for Fluttershy in this scene, but I don't.

Fluttershy getting smacked around was surprisingly refreshing. Normally I fear for her but in this case I didn't have any problems. It's weird.

And I get the feeling the moment I say this Fawriel will descend from the heavens and comment on how he didn't like seeing Fluttershy being abused.
