Adding actual clothes automatically anthropomorphizes them. Throwing on undergarments or towels changes them from animals into semi-humans who just happen to be wearing less than normal. That's why Almost Naked Animals will always seem disturbing.

I guess you got a point that adding clothing to animals slightly adds to anthropomorphication...

On a semi-unrelated note, I hate it when people think that "anthro" versions of characters means "furry."

And I mean people using "anthro" as a "fancier" word for "furry." (And I'm abusing quotation marks here to hell and back...)

Anthropomorphize = To humanize. Get it right, furfags!

Using a word wrong is a bigger gripe with me than a misspelling. Often see anthropomorphic spelled as anthromorphic.
