@Orion: Well, peole will often call grown men boys, unless they're quite masculine, especially in young adulthood. If you're under 30, you're probably still in 'boy' range. Therefore, you can still reasonably be called a colt.

It would have been so easy to make Luna a goody-four-shoes. Instead, they went with the unexpected and made her personality pretty much the same as Nightmare Moon's (minus the maliciousness.) She's capable of tender moments, but she's still quite rough around the edges. Still maturing, if you will.
