It's not Flanderization if it's not a continuous trend over time. And it's not like she was entirely one-note the whole episode, either. She had plenty of moments throughout the episode that echoed her improved relationship with Sweetie Belle post-Sisterhooves Social.

Rarity made her own blow up tent that didn't get destroyed at any point, nor did she receive her comeuppance for not liking nature. I was fine with it.

There was a preview clip released the day before that revealed that Luna was in the episode (showing her appearance in Scootaloo's first nightmare), so yeah that part was spoiled.

Seeing as her intro sequence has her start off thin and eat a slice of cake to become fat, presumably this is what is happening between each fight.

Well there is that one fic that is essentially "Celestia goes on a diet" turns out, that after as she put it "A century of comfort food following that whole Nightmare moon incident." oh and the decade ponies invented the potato chip. It was realized a Princess that can't stand under her own wait, isn't a great morale booster for Equestria, so anytime her weight goes over a certain amount, Diet time, weather she likes it or not.

I like the sound of this fic, we get chubby Celestia and she resets for another go.

I am always amused by the various premises where Celestia does spmetjing extremely drastic after she puts Luna away. excessive drinking leading t the outlaw of alcohol, this, I mean the possibilities are endless.
