There was a girl in ny class in college who was one of those super-activist feminists. Considering the lay of the land in the games industry I actually agreed with her for the most part... until I found that she openly admitted she just liked the attention it brought. So yeah.

@Con: Oh god, too close to home for me. I livei n the middle of downtown, I probably walk past three homeless people on the two minute walk from my apartment to the office.

Yeah, I get that. Like if you did a breakdown of the stuff I watch, it wouldn't really match up with my tastes well because I tend to default to Chopped or Pawn Stars when there's nothing else on.

Why do you even watch TV if there's nothing you want to see? I guess I'm different because I mostly watch TV and Movies on my computer, so I don't watch things 'just because they're on'.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

@story I had that same custom, but I dropped it once I realized daytime tv over here (and I guess this happens mostly everywhere) was less entertainment and more an offering to the gods of idiocy. Now, I barely even touch the tv.

@condo Your heartlessness is kind of inspiring. Then again, I have trouble playing the evil path in videogames, so I'm not exactly good on that front either.

Pawn Stars isn't bad. It's actually quite enjoyable to see what all sorts of old junk is worth. It's essentially Antiques Roadshow except with entertaining characters.

Yeah, that concept of sitting down and just watching whatever's on tv never made sense to me. I don't watch tv at all, if there's anything I want to see I look it up online or buy it on my own time.

As a total aside, Mousa has finally reached the point where he will now understand what we're going on about when we keep talking about Rainbow Dash <> Fluttershy.

It's also pretty much the only show left on the channel that isn't a WWII documentary and still displays a lick of actual history.
