His name is Roaring Rock. based on the Roc and Ragnrock. He is a gigantic black black griffin with the cobra for a tail. his face was badly burned from a fight with a Dragon. he appears in both Pony and Griffin mythology however his role is very different. In Griffin mythology is described as a noble hunter and a fierce warrior. However the ponies know him as a cruel heated monster able to bring your worst fears to life

I'd really love to see an episode where everypony gets sick or something and Pinkie has to be the "responsible" one. Sort of a "sometimes other things are more important than having fun" moral. I agree that she needs to be on the learning end of more lessons.

2. She breifly thought that she was the one with the problem in Gryphon the brush off.

Who are the five Applejack fans? Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, and Rarity?

Pinkie is freaking annoying, Rarity is a drama queen, Twilight has Super OCD, is authoritarian and was Raised by Wolves, AJ is so proud she almost killed everyone in her village, Fluttershy is afraid of her own shadow and Dash is an insensitive fratboy.

This show is about love and tolerance. About a team being greater than the sum of its parts. About the benefits of associating with each other, understanding each other. So, yeah, characters having annoying features is kind of the charm point of the show, in fact.

Though yeah, Pinkie is the only one yet who wasn't taught a lesson.

A case of true love has the same redeeming power as a case of genuine curiosity: they are the same.
