The way I see it, Pinkie is a rather extreme character; she's either totally on the ball, or she's completely oblivious. The other characters tend to fall into the "not quite right, but kinda gets it", whereas Pinkie is much more either/or.

My tolerance for her fluctuates near CONSTANTLY. It was pretty low in this episode

As for Lauren Faust getting Celestia's voice actress confused, its probably been a while since she over saw the voice acting and she's busy making sure Supergirl, Batgirl, and Wonder Girl don't suck. An easy mistake.

However, she says that Tabitha St. Germain voices Cheerilee & Mrs. Cake, yet Nicole Oliver said herself that she's Cheerilee. Who do we believe?

You might be inclined to believe Nicole because of course she should know what character she plays, but let share you a story...

When Blizzard Entertainment announced the cast of StarCraft II at a Blizzcon, and among them was James Harper reprising his role of Mengsk. Harper shared a story on stage that day. Turns out that, since it had been so long since the original StarCraft he forgot which character he played (and he's not much of a gamer), but IMBD listed him as Zeratul, who's voice actor had since passed away... but for a long time Harper thought he was Zeratul, and when they started casting for StarCraft II and he wasn't contacted to "reprise" Zeratul, and it made him upset. "It wasn't like I was unavailable." ... until they contacted him about reprising Mengsk.

Granted, Nicole Oliver isn't an old man and it hasn't been 10+ years since Season 1, but voice actors do forget sometimes :P

@J-Teeth, last page: Exactly. I'd rather deal with Pinkie than Blueblood because Pinkie at least acknowledges that somepony besides herself has opinions, beliefs and goals that are valid; see also, about half of "Griffon the Brush-Off", especially her refusal to prank Fluttershy.

Blueblood's reaction to being given food was to protest that his royal lips had TOUCHED COMMON CARNIVAL FARE! Anyone without the patience of a saint spending more than a few minutes with him would likely end up beating him to death with his own monstrous ego; I assume the only reason Celestia never sent him to the moon was that she didn't think Nightmare Moon deserved that as punishment.

Of course, Ginger is entitled to his own opinion on these matters.

Nicole Oliver voices everyone and is also Lauren Faust.

I liked Pinkie from begining like everypony from Mane Cast.

And she great in this episode, the way she act as chicken she even make chicken noises lay egg! She even run like chicken, on two legs, that something what only Pinkie can do.

I'm sure pinkie would be a good match for him. By making fun of him. Constantly.

Y'know, maybe I wouldn't be so annoyed by all this if It didn't genuinely feel like I was the ONLY one to feel this way about her. She's listed as a Base Breaker but I really don't see it. I have NEVER seen a single Pinkie hater outside of me and my sister.

remember how I said that the next big bad of the series would represent fear? well I came up with him out of the blue does anybody want to hear about him?

I was looking over the Celebronies page, and something about Spitfire got my attention.

Where did everyone get the idea that she was the team leader for the Wonderbolts? I don't recall ever hearing it mentioned in the show.

Now Pinkie/Blueblood is my OTP foreeeever.

I haven't seen any haters but I have seen plenty of people who are annoyed by some of Pinkie's antics. Probably one of the more annoying aspects about her character is that most of the time the show makes it seem like she can do no wrong.

And if the show needs to bring Pinkie down a peg, why not have one of her pranks get somepony into trouble and she has to work hard to earn their forgiveness? Maybe her and Dash screw up?

Actually, Applejack probably helped the most aside from Twilight.

.........Let's just say its a common thing to say where I live that Applejack is our kin. Some of us even theorize that my town IS ponyville, based on Applejacks location. It's not that far out of a theory, actually.
