A thousand years of Celestia's "casual friday every day" rule really didn't help Luna adjust faster.

But oh well, it was funny.

HE WOULD HAVE 'ENDLESSLY MOCKED THEM, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN GNAWING AT CELESTIA, WHILE LUNA, HAVING BEEN MOONED, WOULDN'T HAVE HAD THE CHANCE TO DWELL ON HER. I really really love Luna's accent even when she's being quiet. It sounds vaguely Scottish, or is it just my imagination?

Very fun episode, especially Fluttershy and Chicken-Pinkie, but the discontinuity kept bugging me. How did everyone forget that massive party they threw in honor of Nightmare Moon being gone? How did THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY who SAW IT HAPPEN forget?

But I can't complain. It's a kid's show.

She WAS acting pretty evil.

PS to those asking why Rarity's missing: There's a chance that this'd have been her in the script. Also, Word Of Faust today was that she had a part in the script; she probably got cut at some point.

There were SO MANY!!

Pinkie knew it was just Luna the whole time. She was just shouting "Nightmare Moon" for the hell of it. Which actually makes her a bigger troll than Luna if you think about it.

I was under the impression that Celestia and Luna were just regular ponnies who were crowned AFTER defeating Discord. Which mean there must have been a long period of time between Discord getting stoned and the Nightmare Moon incident.

How much more Luna do you think we'll get this season? She was a ghost up until now, but with this episode she actually shows that she does have a personality and could be a recurring character.

Why is there no fan art of Luna and Thor together? They're both gods (more or less) in control of forces of nature, they both speak in ye olde english and both have an affinity for ham.

Why not Rarity in episode? Well we 3 other characters voiced by Tabitha. And voicing Luna was propably exhausting and playing Zecora make it even more difficult. Also Hasbro propably don't like to pay one actor for playing to many roles in one episode.

But why she wasn't even in backgroud I don't know.

I whant to see episode with both LUNA and Celestria, at least one long scene with them.

And I whant to see Princesses to kick some plot.

I really liked the episode, though I do wish Pinkie didn't come across as a complete jerk. It's troubling, especially when we had episodes setting how Pinkie tends to be consider people's feelings, like by refusing to do pranks on people who would take it badly (like Fluttershy in Griffon The Brush Off). Here she can clearly see Luna's taking badly (she frikkin bans the holiday FOREVER after one Pinkie's panic screams) yet Pinkie never goes "Maybe I pushed things a bit too far", nope, she keeps on going.

But still, it's a minor gripe. Luna was awesome.
