I like how they use Zecora. She is not outsider anymore, and she use her creepiness in best place and time, finaly she also helped to fix problem.

As for Pinkie I don't see anything wrong in her action in this ep.

To be honest from most pony perpective Lune apear as just mean, angry and creepy, not sad with hurt feelings.

For me it's not the mere fact "Pinky's being kinda mean" but the borderline out-of-characterness of it. We've had Pinky show many times she's considerate of the feelings of others (She makes a welcome party for Twilight coz she thinks she's lonely being the new girl in town, she doesn't play pranks of Fluttershy coz she know she'd take it badly, she insists on keeping secrets secret to not hurt the secret giver's feelings).

Then in this episode she flagrantly sees she's hurting someone's feelings... and doesn't stop doing it.

It's seeing current ED banner with non canon Luna.

Pinkie seemed fine to me. she's just being pinkie pie, as scootaloo would say

For me Pinkie belived that being scared of Luna is what she whant, she does't know that Luna don't whant to be scary all time.

The scene where she brings the spider to life was almost uncomfortable for me to watch actually. I just felt so sorry for Luna it was making me cringe.

I think they used Zecora well to set up the whole "kids like to be scared" theme. Zecora's show was obviously just a show, and they still screamed during it, and even gave all their candy to the random NMM statue as tribute. They just like to act out the idea of NMM existing and wanting to gobble ponies, and thought that Luna would play he role better than a statue. Also, a good continuity nod to how they were afraid of Zecora herself too, but now she is first introduced as "our friend, Zecora", and only then they start being afraid of her as if she would still be an evil enchantress.

Luna REALLY needs to get her anger under control. If there was ONE thing I wasn't expecting from Luna, it was a hair trigger temper

Large Ham!Luna is awesome. Therefore:

WE HATH JUST FINISHED WATCHING EPISODE 3 AND ARE MOST PLEASED! WE BELIEVETH THAT SEASON 2 WILL BE 20% COOLER THAN SEASON 1 IF THINGS CONTINUETH ON YONDER PATH!
