I just realized that parasprites and Crystal Ponies both have polygonal eye reflections.

Also, we can use the alicorns (other than Chaos who is specifically AU) as some members of the council.
Whoops! Accidenty some words! I meant the alicorns fro All Dem Ponies.
@Meta Four: Wouldn't that be well into the several hundreds? Then again, that works for me. As I see the members of the council as long-livd but mortal and replacable.
So most alicorns are long dead.
DIT: Also, why is that the Andrew Hussie route? I didn't see anything obvious on his trope page.
Oh and @Ace: I see Lauren Faust's avatar as the alicorn of history.
