Yeah, in that sense I'm fine with it. I just seriously doubt they'd be genetically related.

Aww... I missed a language discussion.

But this Cosmic Council in the comic sounds interesting

@Crow The council isn't a comic thing. It's in a book that isn't out yet.

Yeah, that'd be the Comic Council. tongue

The Cosmic Council meets the Guardians of the Galaxy!

I dunno, I'm just making stuff up.

In other news, I am currently collected pony reaction gifs to use in my work's team chat.

I love that this is considered a reasonable and acceptable thing to be doing with my overtime.

They're all one big adopted family.

Aww... I missed a language discussion.

I was wondering where you were.

And last I heard, Kegisak was a game developer in Toronto.

[up]Montreal, actually. And I'm only a tester, not a dev. I work at Warner Brothers Games, specifically.

Do you have to test crappy licensed games, or are they actually decent?

The last game I tested was pretty junk(Though it was a triple-a title, just a really sloppy one. But the title I'm currently working on is a pretty good one.

Still, good or bad after a month of 8-hour days on a game the enjoyment of it is sort of sapped a bit. I still enjoy the work, it's just not quite the same as playing a game for the sake of playing a game.

Hopefully they'll put you on the next Rocksteady Batman game.

[up][up]Testing of any game can be painful, at least that pony gifs thing can give some fun.

Oops, sorry

Also, you're a tester? Ouch! From what I've heard, it's pretty much the worst entry level job in the buisness. But at least you've got your foot in the door I guess.

New info on spoiler thread.
Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.

@Ed: Well, I'm not legally allowed to actually discuss the title I'm working on... or a few of the titles being developed here, really. I think we've got four in development at the moment?

[up][up]No worries. And it's not... that bad. I mean, it's not my pick for a job, but despite all the horror stories I've heard it's pretty decent. I enjoy the investigative aspect of the work, WB treats us pretty well, and the hours aren't too bad... most of the time. Course, my last job(Technically my current job, but now I'm on-site so it's much better) was in effectively a temp agency where I never got to see anyone working in the industry and none of the devs working on the projects we tested cared... THAT was soul-crushingly awful. But this is pretty cool, and yeah, it's a foot in the door.

Hey. I made an interpretation of Babs' sister. Feel free to thrash it, especially the coloring.

thrash thrash trash

The yellow stripe on the tail needs to be curved, since the trail itself is curved.

So you just run through the game and point out problems, right?

And then run through it over and over and over trying to reproduce said problems and write up a detailed report.
