Hah, Cosmic Council, Space, Planets. Making Leo Neptune. And you all (some) thought I was mad, thought other planets wouldn't exist in FIM. Well I'm possibly right.

However, this may joss my fanon that all Alicorns are female.

If anything, though, it probably Josses the idea that only Alicorns hold those kinds of poitions, considering that Leo is likely to be a seapony.

It's all really vague summary stuff, without any real plot spoilers.

King Leo, eh? Well shit, looks like Prince Tidus might be getting a name change... course, Aquastria is no Aloa...

Leo = Lion. Lion is the king of beasts. King Leo is the deity of sea life. Bam. Fanon'd. And the Pantheon gets another member (Plus, Divine Council, Cosmic Council... close enough!)

Anything written in official EU stuff is cannon unless it contradicts something from the show. (Though can be ignored if you wanted.)

Word Of God next, unless contradicted by one of the above

Tertiary information is last, this being stuff like the Blind Bag cards, general merchandise information/names etc...

I read through the first comic last night. There are so many BG ponies with weird cutie marks... I wonder how many of them were in jokes and how many were just the artist being creative?

Mine is also noursihed! And I can honestly claim that even the bits about the gods of other stuff can be, since Luna's existance means that there could be deities related to all the moons(which is a BIG number), and Luna is also referred to as goddess of night(I think), which is not actually related to the moon. Therefore, my fanon comes through sound and well-fed. Huzzah!

The art on that "Under the Sparkling Sea" cover makes me sad. The Chars are so off model or whatever you want to call it. The way twilight's legs are bending just looks wrong...

I like the art...

Also, my hope is restored in that Pinkie Pie book, since it appears to be in the same series as Crystal Heart Spell, meaning it's aimed at a higher age group than Amazon suggests.

@Mio: I would've posted it there, but I think that thread's specifically for Season 3.

@Seraphem: I'd say toy stuff made directly by Hasbro (as opposed to The Merch that's just licensed) would be on a higher level than tertiary, since MLP is mainly a toyline.

then it's whatever you want to prefer, or which ever is closer to being canon per the show. the only 100% unalterable IS cannon would be what is actaully show on screen during the show

I'm rather picky about my canon. Like, I tend to treat EU-type stuff as really low-tier.

Partly because oftentimes, I can barely find the time and/or interest to keep up with ALL the things.
