1 day, 18 hours until showtime.

looks at Littlest Pet Shop Character Page

Huh, so Dashie is dubbing for Blythe, Celestia dubbing for Zoe, and Rarity for Pepper.

Celestia is Zoe?

Huh... surprised there haven't been any Princess Pop Star pictures yet.

I remember cracking jokes about how Cadance would be a literal Princess of Pop at one point [lol]

Since she's the Princess of Love, does that make her Sailor V?

[lol]

Yeah, I'm hardly bilingual. Weird, seeing as how my parents almost always talk to me in Spanish.

I like the tail.

Celestia is Zoe?

Well Wash is obviously Rainbow Dash

Funny thing is that Dashie is dubbing out-of-type, since Blythe is a Fashion Designer like Rarity or G3.5 Dash [lol]

My only nitpick based on what little I've seen/heard of the show is that they're either trying too hard or not hard enough to make lightning strike twice with LPS 2012. They should have given it its own unique quirks and wit to stand apart from our ponies, so it would be a legit good show on its own merits, rather than ride the waves on our prefered show's popularity.

Anyways, I totally want to see a reactionfic of our ponies watching LPS 2012 now [lol] Imagine Rarity's reaction at Dashie's dubjob of Blythe!

@languages: I main English, and know Chinese (simplified) and a little Japanese (Knowing chinese makes it easier to decipher kanji lol), plus extremely limited context-based translation ability for various European languages. My real power is being able to use both UK and US English and Singlish :D

I have english, spanish, and whatever resembles those two in other languages, which in spanish's case is quite a lot.
Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.

I have a very basic grasp of French, enough to ask very simple questions and get a basic picture of the answers. Most of what I lack is vocabulary, really, and a finer grasp on grammar structure, though that's coming along well enough.

The preview that aired during the Season 3 premiere didn't tip you off?

Fan: I LOVED "One Bad Apple!" If you can--is Babs Aunt and Uncle Orange's daughter?
Cindy Morrow: not that I know of?
While this isn't 100% confirmation, it does seem to lessen the odds of Babs Seed being Aunt Orange and Uncle Mosely Orange's daughter.

Was Cindy Morrow the writer of the episode? I never do pay attention to that sort of thing...

[up][up][up]For some reason a couple of people on Derpibooru are interpreting it as she doesn't even know who Aunt and Uncle Orange are.

I don't know why but there has been a lot of second guessing of Ms. Morrow today.

[up]The one with the Oranges? No that was M.A. Larson.

I suppose it's just the question mark at the end. Makes it sound like she's not really sure of what she's being asked and she's just giving a fill-in answer...

MY best guess is she'd just never considered it when she was writing(Assuming she's the one who wrote it), because it wasn't directly important. Therefore, I have no qualms about continuing to think of her as the Orange's daughter.

Yeah, I read that is "I have no clue; we didn't really consider that". I doesn't really change how much we know other than that at the moment there's no canon answer.

I can speak Afrikaans, but not well. I used to be pretty good with Zulu, but have forgotten most of it. I had to learn some French as well, but I always sucked at that. It was the first subject I ever failed.

EDIT: I agree with Kegi and JT. Babs is still an Orange to me.

For what that's worth, school-taught language curriculums tend to be garbage, because language is not learned in a classroom. I mean, French is an official language in Canada. I took eight years of it in school, and I learned more french than I did there in a month of living in Montreal.
