When you combine Scoots quick hover in the latest episode with her propulsion of her scooter, what exactly is she lacking that is neccesary for sustained flight like any other pegasus? Is it because her wings aren't shaped right to take advantage of the Bernoulli principle?

actually, the most common headcannon I've seen for Flutters is that her mom is a Big Mac size pegasus mare named Barricade in charge of the pegasi of the royal guard. Her father is even meeker than Flutters.

I prefer the fanon that her parents are rich pegasi who disapprove of her lack of flying (hence forcing her into Flight Camp) but still support her lifestyle on the ground. (This also explains her knowledge of fashion and how she's able to support everything with no visible income)
