Honestly I'm not big into shipping, but I do like seeing some of the uncommon ships from time to time. Lyra/Time Turner, Derpy/Ponet...eh, can't think of much else.

I don't always ship, but when I do, it's with UPS.

Flutterinkie sounds funnier, though. Pinkie Pie would definitely call that ship Flutterinkie

@Sereg: Well, that's completely fair enough. I mean, of those three ships one could theoretially work due to them not interacting much(and I'll amdit to liking Twimac myself), one definitely works because it's their most common dynamic, and one would work but not healthily, so there's certainly something to be said for that approach. But yeah, honestly? regardless of how one chooses their ships belieivability comes after the fact. I can say that going based on desires that, say, I ship Pinkie Shy because Pinkie is clearly concerned for Fluttershy's well-being anf Fluttershy appreciates and reciprocates it, but I ultimately don't see it as believable because I believe that Pinkie would tire of Fluttershy or Fluttershy would become exhausted or over-anxious.

It could work if you made her Discorded.

I fully admit that the evidence I use to decide what characters want can be incredibly flimsy. I'm all for latching on to incredibly flimsy evidence when there isn't any stronger evidence available.

EDIT: Also, @Blissey: I think that the thread came to the conclusion that Fluttershy/Pony!Steve Irwin would be awesome and I agree.

I personally like the idea of Derpy/Pinkie as a 'ship, partially because I could see Pinkie not being as bothered by Derpy's clumsiness as others might be. I suppose the main problem might be if Pinkie accidentally insulted Derpy too much, since she tends to be Innocently Insensitive, but at the same time, we also don't know how sensitive Derpy is, and I personally can't see Pinkie being truly cruel to somepony over clumsiness or a lazy eye.

Of course, a lot of that would depend on fleshing out Derpy's personality from the little we can tell of it from the Last Round-Up as well, and she could probably be easily written as a character who would get along well with Pinkie since we know so little about her canonically.
