I don't think it really feels right to just say it's artistic license that someone climbed into the pool. I dunno. Something feels significant about it, somehow.

The clones are pond-universe Pinkies who wished to meet someone just like her, rather than wishing to have a copy made of her.

Interesting art style for that underwater one.

About the mirror pool; would you humans us it if you had the chance?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Huh, that's an interesting art style...
@Under the Sparkling Sea: Hold on one sec. -clears throat- Dear Celestia what happened to their face?!
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Perhaps I might, but I don't think so, because I don't think I can handle the responsibility of another person who is a copy of myself. Not to mention that I would need to basically train them to be capable of acting in society. If I wanted that, I think I'd rather just have a child the normal way. Probably for the best that something like that doesn't exist. I could see unethical people using it to create body-doubles to replace people, or to create armies.

@whatshisgame That Twilight vector haunts us all.
@orion I don't think I'd want another me, much less a lesser copy. That is just asking for a big problem later on.
Oh, and hello everyone.

Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.
I'm just gonna wait for whatever
this
is before I go buying any books.
C'MON AND SLAM! AND WELCOME TO THE JAM!
It takes a bit to get used to it, but I actually like the style. Less cartoony, but still cute. If you look, you can see that the ponies have gills and fins on their legs, probably from a spell of Twilight's. That synpopsis is the real interesting part, though. King Leo? Seaponies vs. mermares? Sounds cool.
Twilight has stolen the Crystal Heart and is wearing it around her neck. The fiend.
Tealove is best pony.

It's just stylized Equestrian art. I know you focus on stars and such, but there are plenty of art-styles in Equestrian portraiture, Orion. I mean,
Earth portraiture has similarly widly-varying styles
◊, but it's still art.
Are seaponies and mermares a gender-seperation thing? Or
somethign different entirely?

That sea pony is purdy yet alien at the same time. I like.
Perhaps the seaponies are seahorses, while the mermares are hippocami?
@The sea pony art style: I'm the odd pony out aren't I? I get there are different art styles, but it looks so uncanny. I mean, Rainbow Dash has no neck and Spike looks like a balloon. Ugh, not even Colin gets me.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

We're humans. Your uncanny valley is not our uncanny valley.
Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.
@Calnos: Was it just split because someone felt the folders were getting too big? I know there's a limit, but there's no reason to do that unless the folders break.
Be careful around me. I ask too many questions.
Please help out
The History Of Video Games.
Rainbow doesn't have no neck, she's just turned at an angle such that you can't see her neck, because it's behind her head.
It'd be cool if it was like One Piece, where there are merpeople (human torsoes, fish tails) and fish-men (what appears to be a more "complete" human-fish hybrid, with legs)

Those books are certainly something. The official guidebook has me intrigued and a little wary.
