I kinda hope they continue to adhere to the Season 1 caveat of trying to have the ponies move and interact with things in more physiologically convincing ways rather than cheat in too many humanlike gestures ._. It's cuter that way.

I don't mind the Doraemon-like granular jamming effect, mind. It kinda makes sense and can be incorporated into an evolved lifeform in under 1, 000, 000 generations.

I don't agree with the "evil" part, but they were definitely low-quality, one-dimensional photocopies.

Just because most unicorns are limited in the spells they can perform doesn't mean that they don't have to learn those spells. Rarity's illusion spell probably isn't something that she naturally knows how to do, so she must have learned it from somewhere, namely a book.

That's why I used "evil" between quotes. They really didn't seem to have purpose for evil or good, but my Christian relatives surely would consider them demons.

About Celestia: Is she also a pony? I can't remember if I asked that already.

I honestly don't think that the clones were sapient enough to actually have a moral alignment. They were more like computer programs than anything else.
