I guess "I'm dressed up as a generic human" would be a little weird (or maybe just incredibly lazy), though.

Actually kids do do that a lot on Halloween. Dressing up as adults. "Imma gonna be a soldier!" "A cop!" etc...

Spike's just doing the same I guess. Funny though, the horns on his costume match neither of the adult dragons we've seen, or Spike's own vision of himself grown up. Or Giant!Spike from Twilight's flashback. Also, no wings.

I really like the new Luna design. She looks more on par with her sister, which will help reduce the idea that Celestia bosses her around all the time.

Ghilz: Well, that's a specific profession then. I initially just pictured someone throwing on a T-shirt and some jeans and going "I'm going as a human!"

EDIT: Princess Whatsherface is busy being jealous of Celly and Luna because even though she's the third alicorn, her cutie mark is to be totally forgettable and she's really good at it, so nopony ever remembers her. So she goes around creating mischief.

Eeeeee this is so nice to have screenshots!

And I especially like the snapshot of Luna with Twilight.

It furthers what I've been thinking this whole time. Luna's a good person and Twilight is not one of the people still afraid of her. That would just be silly.

Well, on one hand, she has a valid reason: Celestia is her personal teacher and the ruler of their world/nation. She could get away with any Cool and Unusual Punishment. That's one teacher you don't want to fail.

On another, Twilight should already know Celestia better than just fearing her and needs to listen to Spike sometimes.
