I'm going to spend the weekend gushing over ponies...then it's time to properly start that big essay. Only three weeks and 3 days to the deadline after all.

My family is going to the beach tomorrow morning and I decided that I'd just drive out separately that afternoon. I'll admit to a bit of embarrassment when giving the reason.

So the MLP panel went pretty well, went over a lot of things I already knew about by just reading the trope page here, but I did meet a girl dressed as Twilight who not only shared my hate of RD, but actually sincerely hated Fluttershy ten times more and here was her reasoning:

Fluttershy seems so fake with her little nice act, but you saw how snooty she acted towards Rarity during Suited for Success, furthermore, she's actually socially worse than Twilight but at least Twilight tries while Fluttershy goes out of her way to live on her own in a teeny cottage at the edge of the Everfree forest. Everyone goes out of their way to talk to her while she mkes no particular effort, she's just leeching off the attention, and rarely speaks to anyone like Say AJ as a friend unless one or the other needs something from them.

I don't necessarily agree and I'm simplifying what she said but I was fascinated by her view, having never thought of it like that before.

Also, pretty sure the episode airs at ten-11 my time, but I need to check on that. Hope so, though. that's a good time for me. Give me time to sleep in, still.

It airs 10 EST, so for a west coaster like you Kegi that's... Like what, six in the morn? And for our UK Friends that would be 3PM.

Purchased today a Fashion Style Rainbow Dash. Man, this is one sleek-looking toy.

@Apple:... well, I suppose it never hurts to get an early start. Time to get people to look at it and make suggestions.

Protip: A lot of professors, in my experience, really like it when students ask them for advice on something.
