Rarity also seems kinda chill (from what little of her face we see) in that cover. I guess spiders confirmed for Issue #2.

On the subject of the game, I'm curious what Fleetfoot's profile says. And Jesus. What is he doing in a game for little girls??

We should probably make a page for the Gameloft game, but what do we call it? Does it have a subtitle of any kind? Can we make up a subtitle? I'd like to keep it separated from the main My Little Pony page.

And when my bro asks me why I'm up on his way out of the door, I will have to reply "ponies."

I take it your bro isn't as cool as Dirk?

Question, for anyone that is willing/knowledgeable to answer. Among male fans/bronies, how common or uncommon is it to have been a fan of the franchise in general prior to the premiere of this particular program? Because before the series premiered, I had already watched and enjoyed most, if not all, of the G3 releases.

[up][up] Dirk would just share a stoic fist bump if someone said that to him.

Nah, my bros alright, but he views my liking of the show with nervous incomprehension.

[up] Seems pretty rare, but we do have a handful of people here who've watched the earlier versions.

@JM It certainly isn't common. Nothing wrong with it, though, so long as you don't mind the fact tha most people didn't care for the likes of G3 at all.

[awesome] Minty is best G3 pony *unpopular opinion*

People who enjoyed G1 seem to be the most common. My mother tells me that while my older sister watched the G1 cartoons I would sit near by playing with my Transformers toys not giving a damn. Years later, after I became a brony, I discovered a large cache of G1 Pony toys in my closet...

It amused me greatly, for some reason.

I rather enjoyed Rarity in G3, though her character was very different from the Rarity we have now.

Oh, and also the "Lily Lightly" special and "Shine On" - that was good.

Thanks for all the answers.

I like Toola-Roola because of colors. Is that weird?

Not at all! Her colors are very pleasing, aren't they? :)

That pony game, I just realized; Derpy has her 'normal' eyes when found, but when in the box, they're, erm, normal.

That was back when Premiere 12 was running the G1 pony cartoon.

You mean there are people who actually liked G3 too?

I liked the G1 cartoons, I think G3 was a bit too vapid for me since I was a lot older.

I was just about the right age when the G1 My Little Pony Tales came out (12), but the G3 stuff didnt come out until I was 16 or 18 years old.

I still have a place in my heart for the G1 toys, Im slowly recollecting them. I left them at my parents house when I moved, intending to come get them later, but they sold them at a yard sale :(

storyyeller - Princess Promenade carries a rating of 7.7 at IMDb. Now if you look at the board for the film (warning - possibly damaging to sanity), you realize that's more than a little fishy, but surely at least some of the nearly 4, 000 voters who assigned a rating of "10" had to be sincere? (My personal vote was a 9.)

Fun Fact: Princess Promenade was the special Lauren Faust was shown after she pitched Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls to Hasbro. Her reaction would lead to her accepting the job of rebooting the franchise.

I have no animosity for the older stuff. I just don't care enough to seek it out.

So Princess Promenade is in part responsible for bringing us what we have now. :) That makes me like it even more. And kinda makes me want to watch it again.

@Cal: That is a cool factoid. It was significant in that it showed her what needed to be different.

[up]Uh, are you sure you're in the right place?
