@JT: Wow, I can't believe I missed that.
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
@Regarding the brony-sized underwear: Why? Just....... Why? Was this REALLY nessacery at all?
HI everypony! Is it tomorrow? 3rd season? That's the day I put on google calendar for some reason.
...the triple chocolate fudge? Underwear?
Tealove is best pony.
Ask The Mane Six
Dare I ask about this underwear?

I would buy Pony boxers to wear as pajamas. I'm a girl though so I can get away with stuff like that!
I can't say much for your book choice but at least you've got a lot to read.

Interspecies Romance: I don't think I'm really opposed to it all that much. At least from what I observed watching Disney cartoons (which seem to have it in large proportion). While consummating a relationship won't really work in this case (unless some magic or SCIENCE! is involved), it's hardly necessary for the romance part to bloom.
On the subject of Human/Equestrian relationships, it gets a bit complicated, but then, there are different ways of expressing love, and even barring that, different kinds of affection. I can definitely see cases where a relationship can develop, but it probably won't progress past the cuddling stage. Seeing how Equestrian culture and morality works, I don't think going farther is necessary. I really don't want to try figuring out how procreation would work (it probably won't).
In False Masks there is a pretty much one-sided pairing of Nearly Everyone/Harry (magic's involved; it's not a harem plot). He's not the least bit comfortable with the attention, as he thinks of the Main Six as surrogate family more or less, making the whole bit awkward, and random natives giving him presents and showering with adoration are more than a bit unnerving.

Und wenn du lange in einen Abgrund blickst, blickt der Abgrund auch in dich hinein.
I guess it could work out in the sense that you could live together and raise children, but it still seems a bit weird.

I was expecting you to post Robotnik. But there are lots that could fit I guess.

@JT: Oh come on, its been three weeks and I return to see an opportunity to say something inappropriate. What am I supposed to do, not take it?
The thread has grown 280, 340% since then. But really, 5 pages isn't a lot. I mean
Shades Of Gray got a lot more than that.

Well, at the point that post was made, MLP was still more of a curiousity than infamous. It hadn't quite erupted yet.
